Carroll Lake is known as one of
the best walleye fisheries in
the world with many trophy
Walleyes caught yearly.
It is also known as a very good producer of large Northerns. The lake itself is approximately 22 miles in length and is scattered with hundreds of islands with a new fishing spot around every corner. There are several streams that enter into the lake and beautiful narrows and waterfalls the empty into the lakes sparkling water.
When fishing with Carroll Lake Lodge, you can expect to find 14’ Alumarine boats with dependable 15 hp Yamaha motors.
All boats are equipped with depth finders, life jackets, swivel seats, dip nets and a survival kit.
Minnow buckets along with an ample amount of minnows for your fishing pleasure are also included in your package.
Be sure and take the time to watch for eagles, bears, moose and caribou.
With any luck you may catch the sight of a wolf sneaking off into the forest.
After your day of fishing, bring your catch to our staff and they will be cleaned for you.
You may choose to have them prepared by our chef or have them frozen for your limit to take home.
The daily possession limit on Carroll Lake is 4 Walleyes and 4 Northern Pike.
We will be happy to prepare Walleyes for any of your meals.
